It's so contradictory, crazy, and fucking insane that theres a federal Medical Marijuana program, that no one else can get into, and that our tax dollars pay for without us being able to benefit from it. It really should solidify every single state's medical program. On a side not, I'm glad we don't have a patient registry in WA. That was a big mistake in Uganda, and in the Holocaust.

Hey, if anyone would like to help get another legalization initiative on the ballot this year, Oregon’s IP-24 campaign needs volunteers to help transcribe signed petition sheets into Excel spreadsheets (in order to check against the statewide voter database to determine whether signatures are valid or not).The campaign has already gathered 90,000 raw signatures and has until July 6 to submit 116,000 valid signatures. Fleecing the sick and dying...

Here is a comment someone posted in a discussion on my facebook wall just yesterday:-----I was lucky I worked hard all my life so I get a kick ass SS check every month $1700 tax free! minus rent $1150, minus bills $500 = $650, Gas, tires, oil and clothes $250 = $400 to eat, pay doctors visits $10 -$35-$50 and bend me over cost if something happens! Now how am I going to buy my Medication every month???

...what is going to happen is the medical patient is going to deal so the can use their medication then patients are going to go to jail! We are being leap froged by the personal and profit movement, Personal because they can pay for it, they are still working!

Wow, looking at those projections its no wonder why Washington state and the I-502 writers are attempting to hand the marijuana/cannabis industry to the state.  I know the arguments will come, but there is no other reason for it.  To be the greedy grower and distributor, a monopolization by the state.  What ever happened to the "free market"?  

My main point is why should the voters or the people turn over nearly in total to the same one's who have persecuted and imprisoned or criminalized for a victimeless crime?

There is no legalization with the poison pill DUID offense added.  Its just a give on one hand and nail you big time on another.  A zero plus roll of the dice, and continued moratoriums or total lock outs for patient dispensaries by any locality that wants to ban what the people have approved.  To top it off, the promoters of I-502 are ready to blame the medical patients when their scampaign comes out as intended.  To fail. Patients should be allowed to participate on both sides of the medical marijuana economy if following the guidelines that are clearly defined without prejudice.
