It looks like someone duct-taped together a few plexiglass pieces and put a Big Gulp straw on the other end. But it utilized duct tape, so it had to be included. No doubt the amount of water this thing takes makes it feel like chugging a bong hit out of a bathtub.
9. The "Matrix"

This is basically three water bottles interconnected and duct-taped to a blue plastic main chamber. Though the complexity is there, this thing looks more like a biological weapon than a water pipe.
8. OJ Bottle with Ash Catcher

What makes this stand out is the nice blown-glass bowl its owner drilled into the lid of the small glass jar that makes up the ash catcher. That contraption is connected to the clear jug with a custom-bent metal tube sealed with plumber tape and a few gromets. Judging by the workshop in the background, I bet it took this guy about two minutes to put this thing together.

I had a mate in the 90's in Melbourne, Australia who made a portable bong out of a barocca tin tube, an empty pen as the mouth piece (with a hole in the lid with a grommit on it) and a normal cone piece. he could fit all the pieces into the tube in case police ever busted him and just cover the hole where the cone screwed in with his hand, and keep a spare lid in his pocket with no hole in the top. It was genius!
Think I figured out ??? Clean air (blue) goes in though mouth piece to cone in middle with the green valve closed and red valve open, hot smoke (red) then travels through water to balloon and expands it some how, I think you then close red valve and as soon as you open green valve the balloon deflates cooled smoke (green) very quickly, passes over the water in bottom chamber and pushes back up through mouth piece. I'm stuck on how they light the cone?

Once again stoner will, congrats on making marijuana users look like crack heads. What the fuck! The stoner culture is the biggest hindrance to marijuana acceptance in society. If it weren't for the stereotypical pot heads acting like stupid junkies marijuana would be federally legal already. Steve Elliott was no saint but this is shit even he wouldn't post. Do you all remember when Toke of the Town had something relevant to say? Its hard for me to believe what this site has devolved into this past week. You used to find material on this site you couldn't anywhere else, now its just a dumping ground for other village voice stories. Lame!
