Good news for those of you young dudes out there who love dabs and are not trying to get women pregnant: yet another study shows that marijuana use can alter your sperm production negatively.
Or it might not, nobody really knows for sure actually — including the study authors.

Back in April, we told you about a Colorado activist group appealing to the state Supreme Court to make medical marijuana use a right in Colorado after a DISH Network employee was fired for off-work use. The Colorado Patient and Caregiver Rights Litigation Project filed an amicus to the court arguing that medical marijuana use is a right and the intent of the voters was to legalize medical cannabis – not just make it a decriminalized form of use.
But now the Attorney General of state of Colorado is offering their opinion to the Colorado Supreme Court, and it’s the complete opposite.
Medical marijuana advocates United For Care have come out and answered the various claims made in an eight-minute anti-medical weed ad that was recently released.
Last month, we told you about Drug Free Florida’s anti-medical marijuana video called “Devil In the Details,” that breaks down reasons why passing Amendment 2 in November would lead to chaos in the streets of Florida. The video claims that Amendment 2 is fraught with legal loopholes and language that would allow pot to be smoked and sold on the streets without interference from the law, and that it would lead to the eventual full-on legalization of weed in the state.
Florida lawmakers passed a CBD-only bill last month and voters will decide this November whether or not to adopt a ballot measure that would legalize medical marijuana in the state once and for all.
But is all of that needed? According to Ian Christensen, an attorney with the Health Law Services in Jacksonville, Florida, a 1991 court ruling has allowed for patients with a “medical necessity” to possess, cultivate and use medical marijuana for more than 20 years.
The governor of South Carolina has approved a restrictive CBD-only bill into law in her state. But despite the moral victory for cannabis activists, the fact that it doesn’t allow cannabis to be cultivated in the state, nor does it even allow for psychoactive chemicals to be extracted or given to patients may be a real hinderance.
The passage of a medical marijuana proposal is in the hands of the New York Senate, though it’s unclear which way the Republican-heavy group will lean and they’ve only got two weeks to decide.
The New York state General Assembly handily passed a medical cannabis bill that would legalize the use and possession of up to 2.5 ounces as well as create state-regulated medical marijuana dispensaries last week on a 91 to 34 vote.

Some sick and ill Iowa residents will now have access to a very limited form of medical marijuana after Gov. Terry Branstad signed a CBD-only medical cannabis bill into law last Friday.
But to access that medicine, patients are going to have to navigate some major legal gray areas and travel at least two states away.

You might have noticed Governor Dayton didn’t hold any sort of elaborate signing ceremony for the medical marijuana bill. One big reason for that is advocates for the bill aren’t totally happy with it. In fact, they’re planning to deliver flowers to the Governor’s Residence tomorrow morning at 11 on behalf of the thousands of seriously ill Minnesotans who won’t be able to access medical marijuana under the state’s new system.

A bill that would ban the Department of Justice and the Drug Enforcement Administration from prosecuting medical marijuana patients, caregivers and businesses which are otherwise following state laws is up for debate this week in Washington D.C.
Similar measures have failed in recent years, but bipartisan backers of the bill – including author Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, a Republican from California – say they’ve got the support this time around.
