A courier delivering medical marijuana to what he thought was a dispensary was mugged for $20,000 worth of cannabis by three men, according to police in Fullerton, California.

Police said the trio set up a fake medical marijuana dispensary in a commercial building in Fullerton, even painting a green cross on the outside wall of the building, reports Dennis Romero at LA Weekly.
“These suspects had spent some time putting this ruse together, putting the order in and finding a building that worked for what they were trying to do,” said Sgt. Andrew Goodrich of the Fullerton Police Department, reports Eileen Frere at ABC 7.

This stash of cash totaling $205 million was stolen, I mean seized, from Mexican drug cartel members by Mexican Federal Police and the American DEA during a joint raid on a suspected cartel boss’s home

Gotta watch those darn south of the border “drug cartels.” Not only have they fought back against Mexico’s War On Drugs, resulting in thousands of deaths, but now they’ve gotten into Bill Gates’s pockets, too.

Drug cartels are making fake copies of Office 2007 and selling ’em on the streets of Mexico, at least if you believe David Finn, Microsoft’s associate general counsel for anti-piracy, reports Curtis Cartier at Seattle Weekly.
Finn showed off a copy of counterfeit Office software “brazenly” stamped with the rectangular “FMM” logo of La Familia drug cartel, reports Heather Smith at Bloomberg.

Deputies discovered this 319 pounds of marijuana in two abandoned vehicles near Interstate 8 in Arizona. They believe a Crown Victoria equipped to look like a patrol car was attempting to steal the weed from the other vehicle.

A fake patrol car apparently attempted a traffic stop Saturday night on a second vehicle in order to steal the marijuana it was carrying, according to law enforcement officials.

Pinal County sheriffs’ deputies said they found a car disguised as a police patrol car, along with another car off the side of Interstate 8 in Arizona, reports Stephanie Russo at The Arizona Republic. Both vehicles had bales of marijuana in the trunk, totaling about 319 pounds, reports James King of Phoenix New Times.
The real cops apparently happened upon the scene just after the fake cops stopped the car with the load of weed. Deputies said the engines of both vehicles were still running when they stopped to check out the scene near Vekol Valley, but both occupants had fled the scene.
The fake patrol car was a Ford Crown Victoria — a perennial favorite of law enforcement — outfitted with red and blue lights, a siren, a spotlight and a front push bar similar to a real cop car.

Erin Alberino, pictured above, was arrested for methamphetamine — which she says turned out to be fake snow

A New Zealand glamor model who was charged with possessing half a million dollars’ worth of methamphetamine said test results show the substance was harmless fake snow.

Erin Alberino, who is facing serious drug charges for the white powdery substance, said she had received results from Environmental Science and Research showing that the white powder was snow she bought from The $2 Shop, reports Bevan Hurley at the N.Z. Herald.
“The ESR confirmed that the substance was not methamphetamine, and that it was not an illegal drug of any kind,” confirmed Alberino’s lawyer, Fergus Steedman.
Alberino is on strict bail conditions at her parents’ home until her next court appearance on December 14.
“I would prefer to wait until after court but the results have come back as Instant Grow Snow, not methamphetamine,” Alberino said.
The model was arrested after a raid on a suspected “meth lab” in Feilding, New Zealand, last month. She was charged with possession of methamphetamine for supply, possessing cannabis, and permitting a vehicle to be used in the commission of a drug offense.

Candi and Bill Teichman, owners of Everybody’s Café in Wateford Township, Mich., have lost their children, their bank accounts, and their dispensary — all because police officers made fake patient ID cards and bought medical marijuana from them.

How’s this for a waste of taxpayers’ money and law enforcement’s time? Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies used phony Michigan patient cards they created on a county computer to trick state-approved medical marijuana providers into selling cannabis to the cops.

Days after cops bought cannabis with the fake IDs, county narcotics agents raided two medical marijuana dispensaries on August 25, in Ferndale and Waterford, Mich., reports Bill Laitner at The Detroit Free Press.
“These officers were denied entrance on several occasions because of improper paperwork, but when they appeared with these cards, I had no way to check,” said Brian Vaughan, former doorman at the now-closed Everybody’s Café dispensary in Waterford. Vaughan is charged with multiple marijuana violations.
“You’ve got law enforcement spending time and money to entrap users of medical marijuana,” Southfield attorney Michael Komorn said on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the cops are claiming that the phony patient ID cards weren’t entrapment, but were a legitimate way to get “evidence.”
“Regardless of whether the cards were real or not, the pure and simple fact is, dispensaries are not legal in Michigan,” claimed Oakland County Undersheriff Mike McCabe.

Jason Christ, owner of Montana Caregivers Network, is accused of unethical business practices in a lawsuit filed by three former employees on Thursday.

Three former employees of a Missoula, Montana medical marijuana business that has helped thousands of patients get cannabis authorizations sued its owner Thursday, claiming that he ordered hundreds of card applications to be falsified.

The wrongful-discharge lawsuit filed in state District Court in Missoula also accused Montana Caregivers Network owner Jason Christ of verbally abusing employees, using company funds for personal expenses, driving a company van while smoking marijuana and creating a “hostile work environment” that essentially forced the three workers to quit on June 18, reports Mike Dennison at the Billings Gazette.

Hey, let’s outlaw everything that even looks a little like marijuana!

Kansas may be millions of dollars in the red and facing a host of real problems, but the Legislature there has a rather curious sense of priorities, passing a law against fake marijuana.
The Kansas House of Representatives endorsed legislation Tuesday to ban the ersatz weed, sold as incense under the brand name K2, reports David Klepper at the Kansas City Star.
Police say the substance is increasingly being used by teens and others looking for the effects of marijuana but whom, for whatever reason, cannot get pot.

Dude… This story’s probably gonna make you feel better about yourself, because you are so much more together than the idiot in Flagstaff, Arizona, who busted into a head shop and stole $300 worth of fake weed Monday night.

In the police blotter of Wednesday’s Arizona Daily Sun is a report of a burglary at the Kind Connection Tattoo and Smoke Shop (I’ve never been there and I already love the place), where the burglar only stole two items: a $200 incense vaporizer and $300 worth of fake pot.
The burglar bashed in the front window with a baseball bat — setting off, of course, the store’s alarm system — went in, selected the two items, and left, reports James King at Phoenix New Times.
