Charlie! It’s not too late to switch to cannabis!

Boys and girls, it’s time for another story to remind us why cannabis is preferable to alcohol.

Celebrity and party boy Charlie Sheen was hospitalized early Tuesday morning after he was found drunk and naked in a trashed New York City hotel suite.

Just two months out of rehab, Sheen, 45, in the company of a call girl, reportedly trashed his suite after learning he’d lost his wallet and cellphone, report Larry Celona and Jamie Schram at the New York Post.
Security officers at The Plaza Hotel on Fifth Avenue called the cops just after 2 a.m. Tuesday after finding Sheen and his suite both trashed, sources told the Post.
Tables and chairs had reportedly been thrown around the room, and a chandelier was also damaged, according to reports. You don’t suppose he (or the hooker) had been swingin’ from the chandelier, do you?
Sheen, star of the hit sitcom Two And A Half Men (you really should watch it if you enjoy well-done filthy innuendoes) was accompanied by his ex-wife Denise Richards, who was staying in a separate room at the hotel, according to sources.

Charlie seemed to be OK, but checked himself into the hospital for a “psychiatric evaluation,” sources said. He told police he had been “out partying,” sources said.
After Sheen got back to his room with “an unidentified woman,” he flew into a rage after noticing his wallet and cellphone were missing, according to sources.
The woman in the room with Sheen was an “escort,” according to police.
The naked hooker reportedly called the front desk from Room 1832 — which, get this, features a pink-and-white striped door — and reported that Sheen had passed out on the bed.
Life & Style magazine claimed on its website that the nude woman was screaming inside a locked closet.
“She was fearing for her life and was naked,” one source told the website.
“Charlie was incoherent but started screaming slurs at the cops,” the source told Life & Style. “They recognized him immediately and gave him two options: They could take him to the hospital or take him down to the station. Charlie chose the hospital.”
No complaints were made and there was no arrest, according to NYPD spokesman Paul Browne. Sheen is not expected to face any criminal charges.
Sheen’s public relations representative claimed he was taken to the hospital after “an allergic reaction to medication.”
He is expected to be released from the hospital on Wednesday, October 27.
The star was in town with Richards, 39, and their two daughters, who were also staying in the hotel.
Sheen was arrested in Aspen, Colorado, in December 2009 following a fight with then-wife Brooke Mueller, in which she called 911 claiming he had tried to kill her with a knife.
The hard-partying celebrity, who has in the past admitted a fondness for cocaine and hookers, cut a plea bargain to avoid jail time on that charge by entering a rehab facility for 30 days.
Mueller later recanted her story, saying she was drunk when she called the police at 8:34 a.m. (Point of interest: She was, scoring a massive .13 blood alcohol count. Sheen was only .04.)
In 1996, Sheen was charged with attacking a girlfriend at his home in California. He later pleaded no contest and got two years’ probation.
His father, actor Martin Sheen, in 1998 turned Charlie in for violating his parole after a cocaine overdose sent him to the hospital. He was again ordered to undergo a rehab program.
