Presenting the first Christmas Trees that are supposed to catch on fire

The Patients Care Collective (PCC) in Berkeley, California, has been helping medical marijuana patients for more than 10 years now, having originally opened their doors back in 2001. They’re a festive group; during the holidays they help patients celebrate the season with yummy, cannabis “Christmas Trees” augmented with potent concentrates.

“Making our PCC Medicinal Christmas Trees has become a popular tradition for our patients and staff,” Marina Musielak of Berkeley PCC told Toke of the Town Thursday afternoon.

Marina Musielak, Berkeley PCC: “Patient enthusiasm for these Christmas Trees makes the holidays double festive and exciting!”

”Each tree is made starting with a good size, high grade ‘Tree,’ and is then decorated with rare and special concentrates like our Jolly Rancher Red Oil, and our PCC exclusive Triple Double Truffle, which is a house blend of two types of kief, two types of hash, and two types of crystalized oils,” Musielak said.
“Patient enthusiasm for these Christmas Trees makes the holidays double festive and exciting!”
The Cherry AK Tree, for example, was made with:
• 5 grams of Cherry AK
• 2.5 grams of Triple Double Truffle (house blend of six concentrates)
• 1 gram of Lambsbread Kief
• 0.5 grams of Jolly Rancher Red Oil
“The tree has been embellished with a good coating of the concentrate mix,” Marina said.
“We also made a Jolly Rancher Red Oil star,” she said. “The remaining amounts of the concentrates are included in ‘gift boxes.’ “
Total cost for the trees is $200, including taxes.
