Not-so-wise man busted with frankincense, myrrh and weed in South Carolina

Alain Cassagnol.

Ho Ho holy shit does Long Island’s Alain Cassagnol, 19, have bad timing. Not only did he happen to be speeding through a 45 mph in his Benz at more than twice the speed just as police were in the area, but he tried to cover up the smell of the pot he allegedly had with him with frankincense and myrrh “Blunt Block” incense.
You read that right: Frankincense and myrrh. The day before Christmas Eve.

According to the Myrtle Beach Police Department, Cassgnol was pulled over on the South Kings Highway at 12:30 a.m. in South Carolina in his white Mercedes after blatantly ripping through the speed limit at more than 100 mph. Apparently Cassagnol had some good weed, got stoned and forgot he was carrying pot with him, because nobody in their right mind would drive through South Carolina with pot on them that fast.
He was arrested and searched along with the car, which is where police found the blunt spray – a spray used to cover up the smell of a blunt. Cassagnol was clearly in the holiday spirit.
For his news making he could be facing up to 30 days in jail for simple pot possession and $200 in fines. Jail for pot? Lets move past that in 2014.
We actually feel somewhat bad for Cassagnol. Not for his dangerous driving at more than twice the speed limit, but for the fact that if this bust had happened in July nobody would have heard about it outside of South Carolina.
Now he has to be the butt of the Xmas pot joke for every single pot blog shutting down for the holiday tomorrow.
Kind of like us. Merry Kushmas everyone.
