The Miami Dolphins’ Ricky Williams was one of the many NFL players who like getting high — and was on the road to the Hall of Fame. But he entered an early “retirement” in 2004 after failing drug tests for marijuana.

Does the National Football League’s 2010 draft class have a marijuana problem?

Multiple NFL personnel officials have reportedly told SI.com they are “concerned” about the “increased number” of the 2010 draft prospects who “have a history of marijuana use.” Many of the players have already acknowledged a failed drug test for cannabis in college, in their interviews with team representatives.
One personnel manager told SI.com’s Don Banks that “10 or 11” possible first-round draft picks have been “red-flagged for marijuana use” in college, an estimate also made by two teams’ head coaches.
Another NFL head coach guessed that “one-third” of the players on his team’s draft board had “some sort of history with marijuana use” and would thus require an “extra level of evaluation” as part of the pre-draft scouting procedure.
“Marijuana use is almost epidemic, with more guys having tested positive for marijuana at some point in their college background than I can ever remember,” said a team personnel specialist. “It’s almost as if we are having to figure out a new way to evaluate it as part of the character and background report, because it’s so prevalent.”

Bastard’s stoned out of his gourd! Look at him!

Michael Bublé, he of the wholesome image and music, may just be a regular guy after all.

The clean-cut singer’s embittered ex-girlfriend is doing a lot of talking to the U.K. media. Tiffany Bromley told the press that Bublé regularly smoked marijuana, then would stuff himself with biscuits and cakes to assuage the raging pot munchies.
Yeah, I know; seems like pretty tame stuff to the rest of us, but remember: This is Michael freakin’ Bublé, dudes.
“Michael smoked up to three joints a day when I was with him,” ex-girlfriend Bromley told News of the World.
“He always had a couple in his wash bag ready to go,” the ex-model turned hairpiece maker told the press. “He insisted it was his way of winding down at the end of the day. But sometimes he started the day with one.”
Oh, horrors. Michael Bublé wakes and bakes!
Thing is, Bublé himself beat his pissed-off ex-girlfriend to the punch, a couple of months ago.
Late last year, the singer confessed his marijuana use and partying ways in an interview published in Britain’s The Sun tabloid.

Where there’s Willie, there’s weed. Let’s just all come to terms with it.

Willie Nelson was supposed to play a gig in Kenansville, North Carolina Thursday night, but he had to cancel the show because of an illness.

But you know how it is on the road. The show got canceled, and the probably bored and stir-crazy members of his band managed to get themselves into some trouble there in little old Duplin County.
Agents with the North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement Division issued citations to three members of Nelson’s band for having moonshine whiskey and small amounts of marijuana, reports Laura Phelps at WNCT.com.

Legendary actor Dennis Hopper, the Easy Rider himself, was photographed Thursday at The Farmacy Cannabis Club in Venice, California, a medical marijuana dispensary.

Hopper wore a checkered paperboy cap and dark-rimmed glasses into the establishment, which resembles a farmer’s market, according to “Doug” at RadarOnline.
Hopper’s filmography contains many high points in addition to the 1969 counterculture classic Easy Rider, which featured an iconic pot-smoking scene with Peter Fonda and Jack Nicholson.
